This Liability Disclaimer describes the basis on which Aveum supplies its products and the limits of our responsibility. It forms part of, and is read together with, our Terms of Service and Compliance & Research Use statement.

Research-use-only, not for consumption

Every compound is supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use only. Nothing sold here is a drug, supplement, food, or cosmetic, and nothing is intended or fit for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, or injection. Any use outside a controlled research setting is contrary to the terms of sale and is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

No FDA approval; no medical or therapeutic claims

None of these compounds has been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any equivalent authority for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. We make no medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or performance claim about any product. Technical data such as purity, molecular weight, and CAS number is reference information for researchers, not directions for use.

Buyer assumes all risk

You acknowledge that the properties and effects of these research materials may not be fully characterized and may carry risks that are not currently known. You assume all risk associated with the purchase, possession, handling, import, storage, use, misuse, and disposal of any product, including unknown and unforeseeable risks.

We supply the compound only

Aveum's role ends with supplying the research material and any available third-party documentation. We are not responsible for how any product is used or misused, or for any result, outcome, injury, or loss connected to it. We do not advise on dosing or protocols and provide none. What you do with a compound is your decision and your responsibility alone.

Reseller relaying a third-party manufacturer's product

Aveum is a reseller and middleman, not the manufacturer. We do not synthesize, compound, or repackage these products; a third-party manufacturer produces them and dropships them directly to you. We relay the manufacturer's product and its independent Janoshik Analytical third-party lab COA (available on request) for transparency, but we do not independently manufacture or certify the goods and give no warranty beyond what the law requires.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aveum disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Aveum, its owners, and its agents harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your purchase, possession, import, use, misuse, resale, or distribution of any product, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
