Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Aveum is a reseller, not a manufacturer. All products are supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, are not FDA-approved, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. By using this site or placing an order you agree to every term below.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Aveum ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to this website and any order you place. By browsing the site, clicking to confirm your age, adding items to the cart, or completing checkout, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the site and do not order.
1. Eligibility
You must be 21 years of age or older and legally competent to enter a contract. By ordering you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement, that you are acting on your own behalf or with authority to bind the party you represent, and that your purchase, possession, import, and intended use of these compounds is lawful in your jurisdiction. We may require age confirmation before granting access to the site and may refuse service where we reasonably believe the buyer is underage.
2. No medical advice; no claims
Nothing on this site is medical, veterinary, or professional advice. We do not prescribe, diagnose, treat, or recommend a course of action for any person or animal, and we make no therapeutic, curative, or performance claims about any product.
- Product descriptions, molecular weights, CAS numbers, and purity figures are technical reference information for laboratory professionals, not directions for use.
- We do not provide dosing guidance, protocols, or reconstitution instructions.
- No product is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any equivalent authority for human use.
3. Research-use-only status
All compounds are sold for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food, and are not for human or veterinary consumption, ingestion, or injection. You agree to handle, store, and dispose of all materials in accordance with good laboratory practice and applicable law, and to keep them out of the reach of children and animals.
4. Order formation and acceptance
Displaying a product is an invitation to treat, not an offer. When you complete checkout you make an offer to buy. No contract is formed, and we are not obligated to sell, until we accept your order. Acceptance occurs only when we confirm the order and dispatch it (or notify you of dispatch). An order confirmation or automated payment receipt acknowledges receipt of your offer but does not by itself constitute acceptance.
We may decline, limit, or cancel any order — in whole or in part — at our sole discretion, including where the item is unavailable, where there is a pricing or description error, where we suspect fraud, or where we believe the sale may be unlawful. If we cancel an order you have paid for, your sole remedy is a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled portion.
5. Pricing and errors
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude shipping unless stated. We work to keep pricing, specifications, purity figures, and availability accurate, but the site may contain typographical, pricing, or descriptive errors, and information may change without notice. If an item's correct price is different from the price shown, we may cancel the order or contact you to confirm before shipping. We are not obligated to honor an obvious error.
6. Title and risk of loss
Title to and risk of loss for the products pass to you when the goods are handed to the carrier for dispatch (delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to you). Once the carrier takes possession, the shipment travels at your risk, subject only to the limited reshipment and error remedies described in our Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy.
7. Reseller, not manufacturer
Aveum is an independent reseller and middleman. We do not manufacture, synthesize, compound, or repackage any product. We source finished research materials from a third-party manufacturer and arrange their sale to you. We make no representation that we control the manufacturing process, and any manufacturer warranty (if any) runs from the manufacturer, not from us. Our role is limited to taking your order, arranging fulfillment, and providing available documentation.
8. Third-party dropship fulfillment; COA on request
Orders are dropshipped directly to you by the third-party manufacturer or its fulfillment partner. We do not necessarily take physical possession of the goods. As a result, dispatch timing, packaging, and carrier selection may be controlled by the manufacturer.
Each compound is independently tested by Janoshik Analytical, a third-party laboratory. A certificate of analysis (COA) for the current batch — showing purity, content, and identity — is available on request. Janoshik reports carry a unique verification key you can confirm directly with the laboratory. We relay these third-party reports for transparency; we do not independently guarantee the manufacturer's testing.
9. Assumption of risk
You acknowledge that these compounds are experimental research materials whose properties, purity behavior, and effects may not be fully characterized, and that they are not approved for any use in humans or animals. You assume all risk arising from your purchase, possession, handling, import, use, misuse, and disposal of any product, including risks that are not currently known or foreseeable. We supply the compound only; every decision about what to do with it is yours alone.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aveum, its owners, and its agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the products, the site, or these Terms — even if advised of the possibility.
Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to an order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; where that is so, the limitation applies to the fullest extent the law allows.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aveum, its owners, and its agents from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, fine, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your purchase, possession, import, use, misuse, resale, or distribution of any product, your violation of any law, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [SET YOUR STATE / COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the courts located in [SET YOUR STATE / COUNTRY], and you consent to their jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
By placing an order you confirm you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Compliance & Research Use statement, and our Refund & Returns and Shipping policies.
